Job summary

SentryWorld is seeking a Full-time Line/Grill Cook II to join PJ's culinary team at our Stevens Point location. You will work across grill, saute, fry, dessert, pastry and salad stations, preparing foods per recipe and maintaining kitchen standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of cooking experience, and the ability to obtain a State Food Handlers Certification; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant facility.
• Ability to obtain the State Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to prepare food from recipes, commensurate with incumbent's skill level.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to multi-task and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate a wood fired grill.
• Hours may require night, weekend and holiday work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per prescribed recipes.
• Set up grill, saute, fry, dessert, pastry and salad lines.
• Stock stations with supplies for menu items.
• Prepare a variety of foods including meats, seafood, poultry and vegetables.
• Arrange sauces and garnishes for the station.
• Serve items compliant with established standards.
