SentryWorld PJ’s is seeking a Line/Grill Cook II to join our culinary team. The role involves preparing foods per recipes, setting up multiple cooking lines, and ensuring menu items meet established standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cooking in a restaurant facility.
• Ability to obtain the State Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to prepare foods from recipes commensurate with skill level.
• Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate a wood-fired grill and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per prescribed recipes.
• Set up food preparation lines including grill, sauté, fry, dessert, pastry and salad.
• Set up stations and gather supplies to prepare menu items.
• Prepare a variety of foods including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and salads.
• Arrange sauces and garnishes for the station; serve items per standards.
