Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk is seeking a Line Cook to support our Napa-style tasting room restaurant. You will prepare items in pantry, fry, grill, broil and sauté, following recipes and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment.
• Basic knowledge of professional cooking and knife skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions; maintain portions and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned recipes to specification.
• Follow recipes, manage portion control and presentation.
• Set up station according to specifications.
• Use KDS system to manage cook times and multitask.
• Restock items as needed during the shift.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen.
• Maintain kitchen equipment in near-new condition.
• Communicate clearly with Managers and Team Members.
• Follow SOPs for opening, mid-shift and closing tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
