Job description

Join to apply for the Line Cook - Stone's Throw role at Three Oaks Hospitality.

Stone's Throw is seeking professional line cooks to prepare food according to the chef’s specifications and set up stations for the menu. Responsibilities include assisting the executive and sous chefs with daily tasks, contributing to customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to prepare meals during service hours.
  • Maintain accurate food inventories and proper storage at correct temperatures.
  • Rotate stock and restock kitchen supplies for upcoming shifts.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area and kitchen.
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Follow nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism and positive interactions with coworkers and customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in task execution.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Culinary school diploma preferred.
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Bending, squatting, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying noise levels.
