Job summary

Steelbach in Armature Works is seeking a dynamic Line Cook to join our Southern-inspired kitchen. You will execute dishes with consistency, speed, and precision during high-volume service, working station-by-station with kitchen leadership to bring our menu to life.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous line cook experience, knife skills, and a commitment to cleanliness and teamwork are essential. Florida Food Handler Certification is required to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as line cook in a high-volume setting.
• Working knowledge of basic culinary techniques and knife skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Florida Food Handler Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during dining hours.
• Maintain accurate food inventories.
• Store food items at proper temperatures.
• Rotate stock and restock kitchen for shifts.
• Keep prep area cleaned and sanitized.
• Set up and stock stations with supplies.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Line Cook at Steelbach, you'll be a key player on our culinary team, executing dishes with consistency, speed, and precision during high-volume service. You'll work station-by-station alongside our kitchen leadership to bring our Southern-inspired menu to life, maintaining the quality and craftsmanship our guests expect on every plate.

Must have availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized throughout and at the end of your shift
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
