Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is seeking a passionate cook to join our culinary team. You will assist the Chef in producing meals across cafe, banquet and fine dining settings, with a focus on consistency and quality.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a professional kitchen, must have a Food Handler certification or ability to obtain it, and be willing to work varied day/night and weekend shifts. We offer growth and an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler’s certification or ability to get it.
• Willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Age 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef in production and fabrication of food for kitchen, banquet, and dining room.
• Maintain consistent quality and portion control across services.
• Prepare ingredients, knives, and equipment for cooking.
• Minimize food waste through proper utilization of ingredients.
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to develop menus reflecting seasonal availability.
