Job summary

The restaurant is seeking a motivated back-of-house team member to professionally prepare soups, salads, and sauces under the head chef. You will plate and garnish items, cook menu selections, and participate in pre-shift briefings with the team to ensure smooth service.

You will maintain stocked stations, keep cooking surfaces clean, and follow food health and safety regulations in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to contribute to high guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in related food service positions required.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soups, salads, and sauces as instructed by the head chef.
• Plates and garnishes meal items following the instructions provided by the head chef.
• Cooks menu items following instruction provided by the head chef.
• Attends pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIPs, and Specials.
• Ensures that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary meal ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Ensures that all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after each shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
