Terrain Café, part of URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc., is seeking a skilled Line Cook for a fast-paced scratch kitchen in Westport. You will work across Sauté, Grill, and Oven, delivering high-quality plates with precision and speed.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in a high-volume kitchen, strong communication, and comfort with multiple stations. A collaborative team and energy-driven environment support professional growth and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen.
• Ability to work across multiple stations with precision and speed.
• Strong communication and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables to recipe and plating standards.
• Execute dishes across Sauté, Grill, and Oven; support Salad, Pastry, and Prep as needed.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portions, and presentation.
• Keep station clean, stocked, and organized for service.
• Follow food safety protocols including FIFO and proper storage.
• Take direction from chefs and communicate with BOH/FOH teams.
• Assist in closing, station breakdown, and onboarding of new staff.
