Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a line cook to maintain, set up, and produce food on the front line station with a focus on quality and safety. You will read recipes, prepare broiled and sautéed items, control portions, and keep the kitchen clean and compliant with health regulations.

The role requires understanding of recipes, basic math for measurements, and the ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation. A Food Handler Card is required.

Qualificações

• 3 years cooking experience preferred.
• Broiler cooking preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations.
• Good sanitation knowledge and practice.
• Must have a Food Handler Card.
• Ability to read recipes and measure ingredients.
• English language sufficient to understand inquiries.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare daily production and follow recipes.
• Prepare all broiled and sautéed items to guest checks.
• Ensure proper storage, portion control and quality.
• Keep areas clean to health dept. standards.
• Maintain logs on cooling, heating and temperatures.
• Operate kitchen equipment and assist other staff.
