Job summary

FirstService Residential in Orlando is seeking a Cook to support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in delivering a premier dining experience across the property, including events and catering. You will maintain a clean, efficient kitchen, train coworkers as needed, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
• Keep current with culinary and dining trends and styles.
• Ability to follow instructions and carry out instructions given by Supervisor.
• Strong communication skills (listening, verbal and written).
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Problem solving skills, ability to use common sense.
• Team player but can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents and team; maintain strong interpersonal communication.
• Work with Chef to deliver vibrant menu items and be hands-on in kitchen positions.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards per federal, state, and local laws.
• Assist with catering and events, prep and daily kitchen setup.
• Maintain energy and professionalism during service hours.
• Manage inventory and production efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to FirstService Residential service standards and policies.
