Job summary

The h.wood Group is seeking a Line Cook for Bar Shishi, a new cocktail-driven speakeasy in the Rivani building. You will assist in preparing dishes following the restaurant’s standard recipes and contribute to a warm, lavish dining experience.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of culinary experience, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and is committed to safe, sanitary preparation and precise plating. You will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality dishes on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of culinary experience required.
• At least 1 year in a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to recipe requirements.
• Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper output.
• Ensure compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure ingredient freshness and proper storage.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist Head Chef with other duties as assigned.
