Job summary

Gott’s is hiring a Line Cook to prepare dishes to specification, maintain an orderly station, and support a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will work with other cooks to ensure timely, high-quality menu items while following FIFO, proper portioning, and cross-contamination controls.

Qualified applicants have kitchen experience, CA Food Handlers Certification, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.
• Must wear close-toed, non-slip shoes.
• Knowledge of sanitation rules and safe handling.
• Ability to multitask in a high-paced kitchen.
• Understand portioning and temperature guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipe and restaurant standards.
• Set up and break down station; follow opening/closing checklists.
• Maintain FIFO and prevent food waste while ensuring quality.
• Communicate with line staff and front of house for timing.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination controls.
