Job summary

Grand Casino Hinckley in Minnesota is seeking a Line Cook to prepare all foods during an assigned shift in accordance with Grand Casino’s specifications and standards.

You will follow recipes, maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, and work with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, and front-of-house staff to deliver quality dishes. Two years of kitchen production experience preferred; Serv-Safe certification preferred; must obtain GRA license; Mille Lacs Band member preference.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant kitchen production experience, with a minimum of one year of cooking experience preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all foods in kitchen production according to established recipes.
• Follow all recipes and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary area in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks and FOH to run an efficient operation.
• Adhere to safety and security regulations and manage multiple orders.
