Responsibilities

• Execute Executive Chef's menus with consistency.
• Follow prep guides and recipes to ensure quality.
• Present meals attractively and punctual for residents.
• Prepare meals per sanitation policies and portion controls.
• Address resident food/ service concerns promptly.
• Store food correctly and maintain storage guidelines.
• Clean kitchen areas after meals and perform cleaning tasks.

Job Description:

The Springs at The Waterfront is building a team of talented individuals to provide 5-star service. We are seeking experienced culinary professionals to join a team of seasoned hospitality workers. Enjoy a great a work-life balance with no late nights and a consistent schedule. Work in a state-of-the-art open kitchen with stunning views of the Columbia River. And, yes, we do provide parking! We offer residents and guests multiple dining venues in an up-scale environment, with award-winning cuisine, and genuine hospitality. If you have professional cooking experience and a passion for collaboration, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Executing Executive Chefs Menus
• Adhering to prep guides and recipes
• Assures that meals are consistently served with attractive presentation and punctually
• Prepares meals adhering to all food sanitation policies and procedures
• Prepares meals adhering to all portion control and special dietary guidelines
• Resolves resident food and/or food service complaints graciously and promptly
• Assures food is stored correctly, adhering to all related guidelines
• Assures kitchen is cleaned after meals, including but not limited to pots and pans, all surfaces, and the floor
• Performs all cleaning tasks according to cleaning schedule

Salary:

The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Line Cook position, with an hourly wage range of $19-$24 depending on experience.
