ROOP Chicago is seeking a full-time line cook to join our team. You will work on both our ala carte menu and our 8 course tasting menu, preparing and producing foods and garnishes for service. Morning and evening shifts required.

As part of a team lauded for modern techniques and Indian cuisine, you will help maintain high standards, collaborate with BOH, and contribute to a dynamic, diverse dining experience. Soiree Hospitality Group supports equal opportunity employment.

Competenze

• 1+ year experience as a commis, chef, or related role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow directions and adapt priorities quickly.

Mansioni

• Assist chefs to complete daily tasks and prep work.
• Follow recipes and prep lists precisely.
• Oversee assigned station and ensure dish quality.
• Collaborate with BOH to meet standards and safety.
• Stocktake and order supplies for designated stations.
• Support staff as needed and mentor junior cooks.
