Job summary

SANDIA RESORT HOTEL is seeking a Kitchen Support role to assist in menu development and food preparation across hot and cold lines. You will help set up and present dishes, monitor temperatures, and contribute to service while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Ideal applicants have at least one year in restaurant or food service, understand food safety, and can work in a busy team. On-site duties may include varied shifts and adherence to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of restaurant or food service experience is required.
• Knowledge of food safety and safe handling temperatures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and preparation of menus and food presentation.
• Prepare food and set up hot and cold lines, ensure proper temperatures.
• Serve a range of hot and cold items from counters and steam tables.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in, freezer, and dry storage.
• Assist in training personnel and maintain personal sanitation standards.
• Follow rotation procedures and use safety equipment as required.
