Job summary

The Genuine Hospitality Group is seeking a Line Cook in Miami to support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and related equipment while ensuring quality and portion control.

The role requires dependability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining clean workstations, following recipes and standards, assisting with daily specials, and participating in closing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen and dining room staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and run production lines in a busy kitchen.
• Follow spec guidelines, log and report discrepancies.
• Ensure packing specifications are met and stations are set up on time.
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using various equipment.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work stations and proper plate presentation.
• Assist in food prep and support other cooks as needed.
• Close the kitchen properly and participate in closing checklists.
