Qualifications

• Previous Line Cook experience or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of knife skills and cooking methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and passion for culinary arts.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Culinary school or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation following established recipes and portioning.
• Cook a variety of items including grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting, plating.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and proper storage.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the kitchen manager of shortages.
• Collaborate with cooks and chefs to maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and kitchen policies.
