Job summary

Little River Casino Resort is seeking a kitchen team member to provide culinary support to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and to work on line stations for hot and cold foods. The role includes assisting in creating a fun, engaging environment for guests and staff.

Requirements include 3 months cooking experience, knowledge of kitchen production, and ServSafe certification within 90 days; casino/resort experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience cooking and food preparation in a food operation
• ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment
• Experience with a Tribally run casino and/or resort preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports Lead Cooks, Sous Chefs and Supervisors in kitchen production
• Preps and cooks for all food outlets and reads/records temperatures
• Reads recipes and measures ingredients accurately; reads weights
• Works across stations and assists with banquets when needed
