Job summary

Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort is seeking a skilled Food Prep/Line Cook to support the kitchen team. You will prepare items from chef-created recipes, maintain food safety standards and contribute to a safe, efficient back-of-house operation.

Responsibilities include stocking stations, cooking methods, plating, sanitation, inventory checks, and collaboration with front-of-house to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in kitchen prep/line cook roles.
• Ability to follow recipes and standards precisely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items by following recipes and standards.
• Stock kitchen stations and set up prep areas.
• Cook using grilling, frying, sauteing and other methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe food handling procedures.
• Sanitize cooking areas and surfaces throughout shift.
• Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of items.
• Coordinate with front-of-house to ensure timely order completion.
• Follow approved procedures for food execution and plating.
• Adhere to company standards and safety regulations.
