Job summary

Rod 'N' Reel, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Prep role to prepare dishes from chef-created recipes, maintain food safety, and support a clean, organized Back of House.

As a key team member, you will stock stations, prep ingredients, grill, fry, saute, and ensure dishes are plated to standard while upholding Rod 'N' Reel's brand and guest experience.

This full-time role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in food service preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and basic writing.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock food items and set up kitchen stations with necessary supplies.
• Prepare food by cutting, chopping, mixing and preparing sauces.
• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sauteing and other methods to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements; proper storage of items.
• Clean and sanitize cooking areas and surfaces throughout and after shifts.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain food cooling and storage logs.
• Coordinate with Front of House to ensure timely, accurate orders.
