Job summary

Bally’s is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare, cook and plate items in accordance with brand standards at our Stateline, NV location. You will operate at assigned stations, support other kitchen staff, and ensure cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.

The role requires basic cooking skills, English communication, and the ability to follow established recipes, timing and service standards. Health card compliance and reliable attendance are expected.

Qualifications

• Three to six months of related experience in a food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable regional Health card(s) and/or License(s).
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all items according to company standards for recipes and procedures, including seasoning, finish and garnishment of all food items and entrees.
• Performs basic cooking operations including deep fat frying, broiling, steaming, sautéing and basic oven work.
• Plate up food items and dish up for large functions; use kitchen tools and utensils safely.
• Work assigned station with responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation of the area.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
• Properly store and use food items and kitchen supplies.
• Complete prep work for next shift and transport items to workstations.
• Maintain cleanliness in coolers and dry storage areas.
• Provide guidance to peer group employees to oversee task completion.
• Maintain regular attendance for scheduled work.
• Follow the Purpose and Value Model at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
