Job summary

Recruiting.com LLC is hiring a Cook I in the Operations department. The role involves cooking meats, seafood, vegetables and soups, plating, garnishing and preparing garnishes for hot menu items. The candidate will maintain clean stations, follow portion sizes and ensure product quality.

Required at least 3 years in a full-service restaurant, culinary studies preferred, and strong English communication. Full-time, non-exempt position with benefits and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Culinary studies preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Verbal and written communication in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills and fryers.
• Ensure quality and consistency of products and plating.
• Maintain sanitation and proper storage at all stations.
• Assist with food prep and receiving/stock replenishment as needed.
• Record temperatures and adhere to kitchen safety procedures.
• Support kitchen managers during closing and shift changes.
