Job summary

NADC Burger in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Line Cook to join a wagyu cheeseburger concept. You will prepare food to our standards, read orders, and work with a flat top griddle and fryer to deliver high-quality, consistent meals in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of high-volume kitchen experience, hold a Food Handler certificate, and communicate clearly with teammates and management. Rate of pay starts at $12+ tips, with full benefits and on-site scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2 years of high-volume kitchen experience.
• Food Handler certification is required.
• Knowledge of restaurant prep and cooking methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prep according to daily or weekly par.
• Cook and package batches of food, including hamburgers prepared to order.
• Read orders and prepare according to instructions.
• Read food order slips or verbal instructions and cook accordingly.
• Measure ingredients for specific items.
• Wash, cut, and prepare foods for cooking.
• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles and fryers.
• Ensure prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements.
• Restock workstations and assist in pre-shift briefings.
• Communicate effectively with management and coworkers.
