Job summary

Parkwest Casino in Bell Gardens, CA seeks an experienced Line Cook to assist the Chef in kitchen operations and deliver outstanding dining experiences. You will help prepare a wide range of dishes, ensure proper cooking methods, and support daily buffet and events.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of high-volume restaurant experience, can work full-time including nights and weekends, and will pass mandatory background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years cooking in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to work full time including weekends and evenings; flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve egg dishes, meats, seafood, and multiple cuisines.
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam foods to required temperatures.
• Adhere to recipes, portions, and plating guidelines.
• Help prepare daily buffet and carving duties when applicable.
• Monitor stock and place orders from Storeroom as needed.
• Ensure safe storage and proper food temperatures.
• Relieve other cooks during breaks and rush periods.
• Inspect and clean kitchen areas to maintain sanitary standards.
