Job summary

The Chapel Hill Country Club Inc is seeking a full-time Line Cook in Chapel Hill, NC to join the clubhouse kitchen. You will prepare hot and some cold items, follow standard recipes, and support catering events.

We value attention to detail, a focus on member service, and sanitary kitchen operations. Preference for ServSafe certification and English/Spanish bilingual abilities. Competitive benefits are offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least 3 years of line cook experience focusing on hot food production.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining high sanitary standards.
• Strong focus on member experience and quality service.
• ServSafe certification preferred; bilingual English/Spanish advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot items and some cold items following recipes and prep sheets.
• Assist with catering events and line setup.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstation per health regulations.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure proper food safety practices.
• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chefs as needed.
