Job summary

Hive Collective is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food to order according to Hive Bakery & Cafe’s recipes and standards. The role requires maintaining par levels, operating safely, and supporting a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities include training completion, guest information, and adherence to sanitation. Flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays are required, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand English; basic math and computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and ability to learn quickly.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Professional attire and appearance aligned with Hive Bakery & Cafe standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain assigned par levels of food items.
• Be aware of events, menu changes, and special orders.
• Maintain, stock, restock, clean, and organize work area.
• Complete opening, side, and closing duties per SOP.
• Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Provide basic information to guests about the restaurant.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards.
• Flexible with scheduling including weekends and holidays.
