Job summary

Pura Vida Miami in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a motivated line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare menu items according to recipes, maintain quality and presentation, and ensure timely service.

You will work closely with the BOH team, set up stations, receive deliveries, and cross-train across roles to support growth. Local food handler certification required; must lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a food production facility or fast-paced restaurant.
• Food Handler certification as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be familiar with the measurement system.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
