DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a Line Cook in Washington, DC. The role offers $18.50+ per hour, plus $2–3 per hour in tips and additional benefits. You will work in a scratch-based kitchen, advancing culinary skills, and participating in a fast-paced environment.

You will prep, cook, and learn various stations while upholding safety standards and DIG’s inclusive policies. Growth opportunities are available within the brigade.

Qualifikationen

• Passion for real, good food and willingness to learn culinary skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 25–50 lbs).
• Team-oriented with good verbal and written communication.
• Desire to grow within the kitchen brigade.

Aufgaben

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains per recipes and taste for validation.
• Gain exposure to multiple kitchen stations (garde manger, grill, roast, market line, etc.).
• Discuss menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests to enhance their experience.
• Support team during peak and off-peak service.
• Maintain food safety standards and uphold DIG policies.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and uphold anti-discrimination policies.
• Contribute to rebuilding the food system.
