Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a kitchen team member who prepares foods across grilling, frying, broiling, baking, and pantry duties in the assigned outlet. You will ensure dishes look appealing and meet chef specs while keeping your station clean and organized.

As a collaborative team player, you will assist coworkers, participate in special events, and help with setup/teardown. A background check and age requirement apply; 18+ availability on holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or associate degree preferred with some industry experience.
• Must obtain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per menus using grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising or pantry work.
• Ensure plates/pans are aesthetically appealing and cooked to customer specifications.
• Maintain a neat, clean workstation and assist teammates as needed.
• Support special events/parties and assist where required.
• Attend meetings and complete follow-up tasks.
