Job summary

Flanigan’s is hiring dedicated cooks to prepare menu items from scratch with attention to plate presentation in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow the recipe manual, rotate stock to par levels, and assist with prep and station setup to ensure smooth service.

The role requires reading and following English-language recipes, fluency in English, and compliance with food safety certifications. Candidates should be able to work flexible shifts in a high-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow recipes and food labels.
• Stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Speak, read and write English.
• Complete and pass a food safety certification program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Maintains par levels and rotates stock to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Assists with prep, stocks stations, and transports items as needed.
• Cleans and maintains the kitchen area; breaks down stations at close.
• Communicates ticket times and ensures proper food flow from kitchen to guests.
