Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and finish foods according to established recipes and standards. You will maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow health regulations, ensuring quality and timely service.

The role requires 2 years of kitchen experience, with 1 year cooking preferred, and a valid GRA license. Serv-Safe certification is preferred and band member preference applies where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant kitchen production experience; at least one year cooking preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
• Must secure a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Follow all applicable Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference applied in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish foods per recipes.
• Follow recipes and production specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menus and outlets in kitchen.
• Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary area per health regulations.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and other Associates.
• Adhere to safety and security regulations; prioritize multiple orders efficiently.
• Be flexible to work in other food & beverage outlets.
