Qualifikationen

• Ability and willingness to learn basic food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
• Desire to learn culinary skills and kitchen operations.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food preparation standards.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• No previous kitchen or food preparation experience required; training will be provided.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or obtained within 1 year).
• Must be able to secure and maintain a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Aufgaben

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation, seasoning, portioning, and plating.
• Learn and follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain workstations.
• Assist with cooking duties including grilling, frying, roasting, baking.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Support buffet setup and special events.
