Job summary

P.F. Chang’s is hiring immediately for multiple back-of-house roles in California. The positions include Line Cooks, Wok Cooks, Cooks, Chef De Partie, or Station Chef.

You will prepare items according to recipes, maintain safety protocols, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience required, with on-the-job training and potential for advancement. Applicants may need a Food Handler’s Card; we offer help obtaining one where needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required – training provided.
• Must have a Food Handler’s Card where applicable or help to obtain.
• Love for food with attention to weights, measurements, and volumes.
• Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes.
• Good knowledge of chemicals used in the building.
• Excellent customer service and etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team setting.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
• Stand for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications.
• Plate foods according to chef’s guidance.
• Set up, operate, break down, and clean kitchen equipment.
• Assist with washing dishes, cleaning floors, and sanitizing utensils.
• Uphold kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards.
