Job summary

West Coast Convenience is hiring line cooks to support fast-paced, quick-service environments across California. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare food, and ensure a clean, welcoming space for every guest.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible shifts. Prior food service experience helps, but is not required. Candidates must be 18+, able to stand, lift up to 30 pounds, and handle cash.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift to 30 pounds.
• Experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Accurately take orders and operate the POS system
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
• Assemble orders for dine-in or takeout
• Maintain clean and organized dining, kitchen, and service areas
• Assist with food prep and cooking tasks
• Receive and process payments quickly and accurately
• Support upselling and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management
