San Marcos Embassy Suites by Atrium Hospitality in San Marcos, TX is seeking a part-time cook to prepare ingredients, use a variety of techniques, and recreate dishes with consistency for restaurant and banquet operations. Maintain a clean workstation, follow food handling and storage procedures, minimize waste, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Active Food Handler’s Certification is preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds and teamwork are required to deliver

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items using a variety of techniques and equipment
• Recreate dishes with consistency and care across restaurant and banquet operations
• Set up and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation
• Follow proper food handling, sanitization, and storage procedures
• Help minimize food waste and ensure the quality of all ingredients used
