Atrium Hospitality is seeking a capable cook at the Montgomery Embassy Suites, located at 300 Tallapoosa St, Montgomery, AL. The role requires preparing ingredients, cooking a range of menu items, and maintaining a clean workstation to support both restaurant and banquet operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an Active Food Handler’s Certification or be able to obtain one soon after hire, be flexible with scheduling, and work well both independently and in a team, standing for long periods

Qualifications

• Active Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items using a variety of techniques and equipment.
• Recreate dishes with consistency and care across restaurant and banquet operations.
• Set up and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitization, and storage procedures.
• Help minimize food waste and ensure the quality of all ingredients used.
