P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring Line Cooks, Wok Cooks, Cooks, Chef De Partie, or Station Chefs in Metairie, LA. Roles involve preparing dishes to recipes and safety standards while supporting a fast-paced kitchen team.

No prior experience is required as we provide on-the-job training; a Food Handler’s Card may be needed. Candidates should be able to stand long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• No experience required – training provided.
• Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or assistance to obtain.
• Love for food with an eye for detail and understanding weights, measurements, and volumes.
• Ability to learn menu and recipes.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals used in the kitchen.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications.
• Plate prepared foods according to chef’s guidance.
• Set up, operate, break down, and clean kitchen equipment.
• Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, and sanitizing utensils.
• Uphold kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards.
