The Buona Companies in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a Cook to prepare food to our high-quality standards, following recipes and maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard while delivering great guest experiences.

Ideal candidates work quickly in a fast-paced environment, obtain a Food Handler certificate, stand for long periods, and handle up to 25 lbs.

• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Mansioni

• Learn positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and cooking processes (seasoning, grilling, chopping).
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food meeting Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is made properly before serving guests.
• Restock the food line and comply with health standards.
• Be fast and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste per procedures.
• Act with urgency with dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru guests.
• Wash cookware and clean equipment as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
