Job summary

JDK Management Company is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items to our standards in a clean, safe kitchen at a Perkins franchise location in Scranton. You’ll maintain a fast-paced workstation and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver great guest experiences.

No prior line cook experience is required, but any cooking experience is a plus. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency in a busy dining environment.

Qualifications

• No experience is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Stock and prep ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations and shift readiness.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and other kitchen support tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
