Job summary

The role operates in a fast-paced kitchen, focusing on safety, sanitation, and teamwork. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards and regulations to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for cooking and serving foods.
• Estimate food requirements and plan production while keeping records.
• Walk or stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and move heavier items as needed.
• Attend shifts on time and assist with other duties as required.
