Job summary

Rock N Roll Sushi is seeking kitchen staff to support a fast-paced restaurant environment in Knoxville. You will work with team members to prepare and plate dishes, ensuring alignment with brand standards and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining freshness of ingredients, following safety guidelines, and staying organized during busy shifts. Flexibility for weekends/evenings and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Existing knowledge of food safety preferred, but not required.
• Good communication skills.
• Great time management skills.
• Flexible availability during business hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work efficiently with all kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in collaboration with the team members.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all ingredients are fresh.
• Wash, chop, shred, and grate ingredients.
• Cook-to-order and plate items per Rock N Roll Sushi brand standards.
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Adhere to all food safety and health guidelines.
• Follow prep list and ensure all items are stocked.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
• Follow shared daily cleaning schedules.
