Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is hiring a line cook for a high-volume concept arriving in Manhattan’s NoMad district in early 2027. You will prepare hot and cold foods, follow TAO standards and maintain station readiness throughout service.

Role requires 1 year of line cook experience or equivalent, with preference for those from high-volume venues. Training will emphasize sanitation, teamwork, and consistent plating to TAO standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year line cook experience, relevant education equivalent or Tao Group Hospitality experience required.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all restaurant foods, hot and cold; work across all stations with efficiency.
• Follow TAO Standards for food quality, sanitation and hygiene.
• Set up station with mise en place, FIFO and prescribed supplies.
• Complete opening/closing duties and maintain station cleanliness throughout service.
• Communicate needs to chefs and teammates, work as part of a team.
