Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook to contribute to consistent dish quality across high-volume venues in New York. You will prepare hot and cold foods, follow recipes, and ensure accurate portions while maintaining station standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year line cook experience, comfort working in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to follow Tao's sanitation guidelines. Training includes in-venue line cook training and collaboration with culinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year line cook experience or Tao experience preferred.
• High-volume restaurant/nightclub/bar experience preferred.
• Tao Group Hospitality training in-venue line cook training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes hot and cold with consistent portions and plating.
• Follow POS orders and expeditor directions.
• Maintain station cleanliness and sanitation.
• Stock station and set up mise en place per FIFO.
• Work as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Adhere to health and Tao sanitation standards.
• Communicate needs to chefs and staff.
