Church's Chicken in Wisconsin seeks a dedicated cook to join our Field Operations kitchen. You will set up batter, prep, cook, and ensure food meets standards under the direction of the Shift Manager. Maintain clean, safe work practices and support stocking and equipment checks as needed.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow our operating standards to deliver quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods while cooking and preparing food.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Follow Church's Operating Standards and hygiene guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up batter table, collect smallwares, and prepare batter mix.
• Ensure call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Check equipment and report malfunctions.
• Color balance fryers and maintain shortening level.
• Filter and clean fryers per safety guidelines.
• Pan sufficient chicken for operations.
• Prepare and cook food as directed by Manager in Charge.
• Ensure food meets specifications and holding times.
• Maintain clean work area with clean-as-you-go practices.
• Verify stock and supplies at batter area.
• Keep cooler organized and clean.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
