Job summary

Church's Chicken in Wisconsin seeks a Cook/Kitchen Team Member to prepare and cook food per the Shift Manager’s directions. You will set up the batter area, operate fryers, and ensure all meals meet quality and holding standards.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, communicating with team members, and assisting with stocking and organization of the kitchen.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up batter table and prepare batter mix for service.
• Ensure call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Check equipment and report malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Maintain proper fryer shortening levels and clean fryers as scheduled.
• Prepare and cook food to meet quality standards and holding times.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and assist with stocking and sanitation.
