Job summary

Hawkers, LLC is seeking a Line Cook to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on preparing meals quickly and accurately per Hawkers standards, while maintaining high cleanliness and safety practices. You will work with the kitchen team, follow FIFO, and support training of new staff.

Applicants should have 1–2 years in a similar role, be at least 18, and be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certification, with a flexible schedule to fit restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• Must complete all required training courses and assessments.
• Prepares all food items to order following standard recipes.
• Communicates status of orders with team.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Must have or obtain Food Handlers Certification and follow OSHA/HACCP.
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar position.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Rotate product using FIFO to maintain shelf-life.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Log and discard unused products by the use-by date.
• Assist training of new and part-time personnel.
• Follow QR's and Jolt system processes.
• Communicate with leadership regarding order status.
