Hawkers Asian Street Food in Arlington, VA is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will execute dishes with speed and precision, follow standard recipes, and maintain a clean station while coordinating with BOH teammates to deliver a consistent guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a full-service or fast-casual kitchen, can work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and is committed to food safety and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1–2 years of experience in a full-service or fast-casual kitchen.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong ability to follow recipes and stay consistent under pressure.
• Food Handlers Certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Understanding of OSHA and HACCP compliance.
• Experience cooking Asian cuisine or high-volume concepts preferred.
• Basic knife skills; willingness to improve.

Responsibilities

• Execute dishes with speed, precision, and consistency across shifts.
• Follow Hawkers’ recipes and plating specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Support BOH teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
