Job summary

Dave & Buster’s is seeking a line cook to deliver an exceptional culinary experience for Guests through menu prep and presentation. You will ensure safety and proper handling of all food items at all times, following recipes and serving standards.

The role requires discipline, clear communication with team members, and the ability to work friendly with guests and staff, including weekends, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with other team members.
• Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends.
• Previous kitchen experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required.
• Must be disciplined and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items by recipe and to specification.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
• Safely operate all equipment and use chemicals properly for safety and cost control.
• Follow prep sheets to ensure freshest product and minimize waste.
• Sells food within recommended time frames to meet Guest expectations.
• Assist other team members as needed and maintain cooperative working relationships.
