Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You’ll cook with focus, consistency, and pride, set up and maintain your station, read tickets accurately, and plate dishes with attention to presentation while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
